Joshua Richards, who plays Bear Wolf in the soap, arrived in the village in 2019. He is the father of Paddy Kirk. His son found out that Bear had an affair with his mother, Barbara Kirk, which convinced him that he was his father. Before this, Bear was a famous pro wrestler and had many fans who supported him throughout his career. Bear Wolf has retired and is living with Mandy Dingle and Paddy Kirk. Since then, he has been changing his behaviour.
In the recent episodes, the soap fans found out that Bear Wolf is having a tough time controlling his emotions. He gets frustrated easily, and his anger is just getting worse. Earlier, when Mandy Dingle and Paddy Kirk were arranging the boxes, Bear Wolf thought that the couple was pushing them out. He lashed out, thinking that they didn’t want to live with him. However, Paddy encountered Bear to see Liam Cavanagh due to his insomnia. When he met him, he kept making excuses, but finally revealed that he wanted the day to be over as he felt lonely.

They think that Bear has depression and dementia related to CTE, which stands for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. It is linked to repeated blows to the head. Though it’s common among athletes, it can happen to anyone who gets many injuries.
