The audience predicted at that time that the funeral was of Nate Robinson. However, the show hadn’t confirmed that the character was dead. Meanwhile, it was revealed that John Sugden killed Nate Robinson. Many soap enthusiasts assumed that the flash-forward scene with Cain would be shown during the funeral episode.
However, when Nate’s funeral took place recently, Cain Dingle was not wearing the large coat from the flashforward. Although Cain Dingle and Tracy reunited after many clashes between them, another twist awaits Cain Dingle. He has already been through so much.

Some of the soap enthusiasts suspected that the grave might belong to Sarah or Debbie. Elsewhere, some think that Cain might return to the grave after discovering who killed Nate.
