Ben Freeman, who played the character of Scott Windsor, joined the soap in 1998. Earlier, Toby Cockrell played the character of Scot. He was in the soap from 1993 to 1996. The former soap actor is the son of a soap legend, Viv Hope. So, soon Scott Windsor became the beloved character in the show. Ben Freeman’s character was a part of major storylines.
In the soap, he had an affair with his stepsister, Kelly Windsor. Scott was also the biological father of the child of millionaire Zoe Tate. Furthermore, he also had a short love story with Debbie Dingle. However, Debbie and Scott were a part of some shady business. Thus, the beloved character had to exit the village in February 2007. He left the Dales to stay with an old army friend in London.

Meanwhile, this week the actor was back in a Channel 5’s crime drama. However, the fans couldn’t recognise the former soap actor as he looked completely different.
He plays the role of Dennis Pride in Murder Most Puzzling, which is a crime series. Cora Felton hers involved in a murder investigation. Meanwhile, in Thursday’s episode, Ben came as an abusive Rockstar playing the character of Dennis. He was different from his look in Emmerdale. He had longer and curly hair with a dark beard.
