Lydia Wants To Sort Out Things!
The soap fans know that Lydia and Sam organised a body shooting in Kim’s farm without her permission. They wanted to earn money, but their plan backfired. This led to the death of Kim’s horse. Ice got caught in a snare and took a nasty fall. Thus, Ice was severely injured, and Joe Tate decided to have the animal down. Meanwhile, the soap fans know that Kim loved Lydia. She even arranged Jason Donovan’s concert for her.
However, when Kim learned the truth that Lydia Dingle and Sam Dingle are responsible for her horse’s death, she was heartbroken. She lashed at Lydia and pushed her away. Furthermore, she fired the couple. Thus, one of the most trusted friendships ended in the village. However, on Christmas Eve, Lydia was determined to be Bob Cratchit to Kim’s Scrooge by bringing her famous sherry trifle. Lydia was hopeful to sort out the things, but Sam thought that she might come back.
Kim Makes A Shocking Offer To Lydia!
Thus, he was right as Kim threw the trifle. Thus, Lydia was sad, and she gave up trying to fix their friendship. She said that if tomorrow were a year since Sam’s death, she wouldn’t want to spend it alone. Thus, it had been a hard time for Kim after Will died of a heart attack. After Lydia went, Kim was tearful while seeing the photograph of the Tate Family in happier times.
However, Lydia won’t give up on Kim, so on Christmas Day, she invited herself in for drinks with her best friend. Kim felt good after hearing her friend’s speech about their friendship. She said that she likes having a posh friend as it gives her mystery. Then they went to Will’s grave. They also found Joe and Dawn there. Everything was sorted out, and Joe agreed to move back in.
