Joe’s Decision Over Ice Leaves Kim Devastated
In tonight’s episode, it is confirmed that Kim will make a recovery. It’s after last week’s frightening incident at Home Farm. Kim found herself in a really risky situation when her leg got caught in a snare. It happened while she was looking into an illegal shoot on her property. However, the doctors gave positive news about her condition.
But that relief didn’t last long. It’s because Kim’s beloved horse, Ice, has a far worse situation. Ice was also injured during the incident. Later at Home Fram, Vanessa Woodfield revealed the news to Joe Tate and Dawn Fletcher. According to her, Ice’s injuries are of a terminal nature, and the horse is suffering. Furthermore, it can be understood that his condition will deteriorate further.
Vanessa thinks the best option is to put Ice to sleep. Elsewhere, Dawn thinks that Joe will wait. And then discuss the decision with Kim. However, she is stunned when Joe agrees to have Ice euthanised straight away. Later, Dawn seems to struggle with Joe’s choice. She knows Ice means so much to Kim. Later, there are further problems at the hospital. Joe speaks candidly to Dawn about the future of Home Farm. He is unaware that Kim can hear every word. He dialled the number of a business partner. He also confesses that he anticipates handling estate matters for quite a long time.
Moreover, he implies that it would be a good work habit or preparation to handle these duties when he will be the one in charge permanently. Then Dawn challenged his remark. It’s a reminder that Kim is still alive and recovering. Howeve, Joe brushes off her concerns. Elsewhere, Kim listened in silence when Joe spoke.
