Kim Tate’s Accident Changes Everything
The drama began after Sam Dingle lost his job. It happened after a clash with Joe Tate. And Sam needed money, so she decided to arrange a dodgy shoot on Kim’s land. And she didn’t want Kim to learn about the plan. So Lydia agreed to keep her distracted during the Christmas Fayre. Lydia’s decision came after tension with Kim. And this made it worse by Joe’s treatment of Sam and Kim’s small raffle donation.
However, Lydia was unaware that Kim had been planning something special for her. It happened after Lydia spoke about seeing Jason Donovan live. And so Kim arranged a surprise mini concert at the Woolpack. However, the mood shifted when Vanessa mentioned some strange activity on Kim’s land. And Kim got concerned and set off on her horse, Ice, to investigate. Elsewhere, the trip was a disaster as Kim suffered a serious fall in the woods. She was lying injured and was uncertain if somebody would help her in time.
While Kim survived the fall, the consequences were far worse for Ice. And Joe realised that the injuries were not recoverable. And so she decided to have Ice euthanised. Emmerdale Spoilers: Ice’s Dark Past Returns To Haunt Kim
When Ice died, it reopened a disturbing chapter from the past. The horse was involved in the death of Craig Reed. He was a man deeply connected to Lydia’s trauma. Craig was, at some point, close to Lydia. But it turned out later that he was the father of the child she had lost. Elsewhere, Lydia worked for him again. And his behaviour was cruel and abusive. And eventually, he raped her. Later, Craig faced Dingle justice and Sam and Cain held him hostage.
And even though Sam let him go, he attacked Craig after he was taunted about Lydia. Craig was injured in a field. Kim later rode through that same field on Ice. Later, Craig had grabbed the horse in anger. And Ice kicked him, and Kim quickly realised Craig wouldn’t survive.
