Ray’s Crimes Revealed In Emmerdale
The episode opened with the aftermath of a shocking New Year’s Day twist. Ray had ruthlessly killed his adoptive mother, Celia. Then he stood over her body and monologued about seeing Laurel as his “last chance to be someone.” Further, he said, “I suppose I should feel something. Grief, guilt maybe. I spent all night waiting for it. Nah. All I think is free. It shows his detachment from his crime.
Elsewhere, Ray committed this crime as he wanted to start fresh with Laurel. However, he had no idea that she would soon learnt about his horrifying past actions.
