The duo got off on the wrong foot over their contrasting opinions on how to organize the village Harvest Fest. However, one such heated confrontation took a rather unexpected turn when passion suddenly erupted between them.
Even before one could blink an eye, Laurel Thomas and Charles Anderson had their hands all over each other. The two had a passionate hookup. However, unfortunately, Laurel’s son, Arthur, walked in in the middle of their make-out session and caught them in the act. Laurel begged him to keep the hookup a secret, and Arthur agreed. Yet, she was left mortified.
Emmerdale spoilers confirm that despite Arthur agreeing to keep his mother’s secret, he ends up spilling it out in front of Jai Shama. Laurel’s soon-to-be ex-husband. The man had already been drawing out their divorce procedure, so one can only imagine what he’ll do now that he knows Laurel is already beginning to move on from him.

Meanwhile, she confesses to Nicola that she has been hitting the sheets with the Vicar. Later, Manpreet chastises Charles and tells him that the drama between him, Laurel, and Jai is a terrible look for him as a man of God.
