Daisy Campbell appeared as Amelia Spencer six months ago in the soap. The actor took to Instagram to answer an awaited question. Daisy has 85.6k followers on Instagram.
When one of the social media users asked when she would appear on TV, she answered that she will soon make a comeback, urging viewers to watch out for July. Though she didn’t reveal what her new role would be. However, it has been buzzing that after leaving Emmerdale, she has been doing a lot of work that she is super proud of.
Daisy’s character, Amelia Spencer left the village with Esther and moved to Leicester to live with her father, Daz Spencer in December. After her exit she disclosed about the type of projects she wants to work on. She said she wasn’t restricted to one particular thing but was open to anything.
Daisy Opens Up On Her New Role!
The actor added she was open to do plays, dramas, films, low budget stuff and she would also like to tour. Daisy Campbell believes that the world is full of opportunities and she is open to all of them. Meanwhile, at the start of 2025, Daisy hinted at her involvement in a new drama, Storm. She will play the character of Lacey who is the leading character in the soap.
In an Instagram video, Daisy shared that Lacey is a child star from a soap opera. However, this is the only similarity they have. She added that the character suffered abuse by a co-star who was previously accused of abuse. When Lacey’s co-star is nominated for a lifetime achievement award, she has to decide whether to accept the money offered to honour him or expose him.
