The new arrival, Lewis Barton, arrived in the village as Ross Barton’s half-brother. Initially, when they both met, Ross Barton felt overwhelmed as the newcomer kept on asking questions about their family’s past. So, Ross Barton left him alone and came back. Meanwhile, when the brothers met again, Lewis Barton shared his desire to meet Moira Dingle. At that time, Moira was dealing with the slurry leak at the farm. Furthermore, when Mack sneaked into Lewis’s house to steal the weed, Ross had to tell Lewis the truth about Emma.
Elsewhere, a few weeks ago, Lewis Barton found out that Moira Dingle killed his mother, Emma Barton. The new arrival wanted to report her to the police authorities so that his mother could get justice. But they both reached a stalemate as Ross told his brother that he would disclose his weed business to the police. He added that the police won’t believe him as he had just arrived in the village.
Lewis Barton Is Back!
Lewis felt sad and said he didn’t want a brother like Ross. He left the village. However, in the latest episode, Lewis Barton returned to Dales. He told his brother that after he locked Mackenzie Boyd in his loft, his landlord found the weed. So, he kicked him out, and he was looking for a new place to live and grow his cannabis plants. Just before this, Ross and Mack learned that Moira had received a huge water bill.
To help her, Ross decided to grab the opportunity. Ross told Lewis that he could keep the plants on the farm and live with them. He was thankful, but he was unaware of Ross’s true motives.
