Moira Dingle has been going through emotional turmoil. Last week, the slurry tank leaked and created a mess in the village. The slurry leak led to contamination of the village’s water supply. As Mackenzie Boyd was the last person in that place before the incident occurred, everyone blamed him. However, soap fans know that John Sugden framed Mackenzie Boyd to get revenge on him.
The situation worsened as Victoria’s young son, Harry, drank the contaminated water and was admitted to the hospital. Some other villagers are also unwell. The people in the village are buying bottled water to quench their thirst and do other work. In the latest episode, Moira found out that the insurance company won’t be able to help her as the leak happened due to Mackenzie’s carelessness. Cain tried to calm her down, but she feared that it would end her sixteen-year-old business.
Lewis Is Suspicious!
When she learned about it, Ross Barton came and reminded her that his brother, Lewis Barton, was waiting outside to meet her. As Moira had decided to meet Lewis, she told Cain and Ross that they would stick to their original story related to Emma Barton’s death. However, Moira was surprised by Lewis’s straightforward nature and found it difficult to lie about Emma Barton’s death.
Lewis has autism, so sometimes he can’t understand whether he is offending someone. When he thought about Emma, he realised that Adam Barton can’t kill anyone. So, he continued to ask questions to Moira Dingle. However, Moira soon got overwhelmed. Ross stepped in and told Lewis to stop asking questions. Then they left, but Lewis got suspicious.
