Ray Walters and Celia Daniels earlier trapped April and Dylan to do the sex slavery and drug drop, but now they have been treating someone else too poorly. The soap fans recently learned that the long-lost character, Bear Wolf, is their captive. He left his family as he felt like a burden on them. But Ray took advantage of him. When the drug dealer saw him alone, he tried to manipulate him.
Ray told Bear that his son, Paddy, was not concerned. He gave him a place to stay but told him to do the work in exchange. Thus, he was trapped in modern-day slavery. He has been working with other vulnerable adults. But they have no idea that the drug dealers are exploiting them. They have made Bear believe that he will have to live this life only.

In Monday’s episode, Celia told Bear to dig Anya’s grave. When he thought about Anya’s daughter, he recalled Paddy too. He thought that there was a possibility that he might die, and his son might not even know about it. Ray manipulated him again. He said that he might leave the farm and find his son. But he has a small amount of money, so he has no place to stay.
But Ray doesn’t know that Paddy lives down the road from the farm. Then two slaves, Mick and Simo, told Bear to join their escape plan. In the latest episode, Bear went downstairs to the kitchen of the farmhouse. He went to find some keys. But when he found them, Ray saw him. Bear said that he was looking for some pills. Ray believed him.
He called Bear a good man but warned him that if he went too far, he would have to face the consequences. Ray gave Bear some more drugs. Then Bear gave the keys to the other two slaves.
