April’s Confession Breaks Everything
Marlon and Rhona were not prepared for the truth April finally shared. She had admitted that she had been dealing drugs. It’s because Ray pressured her into it. And so they considered going to the police. They felt this way: April’s name would be cleared, and it would expose the real people behind it all. However, their hope was soon shattered.
Later, April told them about the moment everything went even further. She explained how she was sent to meet one of Celia’s clients. And she realised she was about to be assaulted. And so she grabbed a bottle and lashed out. She thought she had killed the man. Ray said that he handled the body. However, since that moment, she has been living in constant fear. Marlon and Rhona were devastated. However, they still thought that the police would understand their situation. They were holding on to that idea until Celia stepped in.
Celia came to the house and showed them the footage of Ray driving straight at Dylan. And because of it, he is now on life support. If they make any move, Ray will strike again. Now the family feared telling Cain or anyone else. It’s because Marlon knew Ray wouldn’t stop at warnings. The only thing Marlon thought of was clearing April’s debt. And so he sold his car and went to the bank. He did everything possible he could to gather what Ray demanded. Even then, they still fell short.
Ray Tighten The Grip In Emmerdale
Rhona tried to manage the rest of the money. However, she had no luck. She asked her clients at the vet practice to settle overdue bills. However, nobody could pay. Even Moira notices something wrong and offers help through Cain. However, Rhona ran before she could explain.
Later, she told Marlon she had taken out a payday loan to cover the missing amount. They finally managed to put the money together. Later, they handed it over to Ray.
