Robert Is Suspicious!
Robert Sugden is determined to find the truth about John Sugden’s true personality. Soap fans know that John framed Owen Michaels for Nate’s murder. He let him die and didn’t call an ambulance. Later, he wrote a letter on his laptop claiming that Owen killed him during an altercation. Later, Liam found his body and called the police, who also found the letter. They informed Tracy and Cain, who were shocked.
When Robert learned about it, he met Steve and found out that Owen and Steve were in Hull when Nate’s murder took place. In Monday’s episode, Robert asked all the questions as he had two separate conversations with Jacob Gallagher and Eric Pollard. During an early visit to the shop, Robert spent time with Jacob Gallagher. He opened up about the near-death experience he had in April.
John’s Acts Are Out!
During that time, Jacob’s nut allergy got triggered when John deliberately switched two coffees at work. This made John prove his hero complex again by saving Jacob’s life. He was full of praise for John Sugden, but Robert Sugden got more dubious. Since no one explained how Jacob’s life-saving AAI pen went missing, or how the coffees got mixed up. He found several things that seemed suspicious.
Later, Robert Sugden had a conversation with Eric Pollard. He found out that John was present for a separate incident with Chas Dingle. Soap fans know that Chas collapsed at The Woolpack after John tampered with the medication. She was taking the medicines after the tragic limo crash. He stepped in to rescue Chas and proved his hero complex. This made Robert Sugden more dubious, and he began to think that John was too good to be true.
