Ruby Surrenders To Police!
In Friday’s episode, Kyle arrived outside the pub and informed Ruby, Chas, Caleb and Cain that the divers at the lake had discovered a dead body. However, they haven’t revealed the identity of the body yet. When the Miligans learned the bad news, they assumed that it was Anthony Fox, as John Sugden hadn’t told them where Anthony’s body was. So they thought he might have dumped it in the lake.
The couple, Caleb and Ruby, got anxious initially. Then they decided to run away, and Cain also made arrangements for them. However, in Monday’s episode, Ruby got more anxious and decided to hand herself in to the police. She didn’t want to trouble anyone, so she left a note for her husband Caleb and moved out of the house silently. Ruby headed to the police station. Ruby told the police authorities about the abuse that Anthony had done over the years. She said that she told her mother about it, but she didn’t believe it.
The Police Arrive To Investigate!
Furthermore, Ruby made sure that Caleb wasn’t involved in her statement so that the police wouldn’t blame him. However, Ruby was surprised when the officer informed them that they needed to take a break as the solicitor was on their way. Meanwhile, when Caleb read the letter, he informed Chas and also made arrangements for the solicitor. He hoped that the solicitor would be able to help them avoid prison.
Elsewhere, when the police arrived to question them, the anxious Chas hid the letter from Ruby. However, in the upcoming episodes, it is later revealed that it is Nate Robinson’s body in the lake.
