Emmerdale Spoilers confirm that Belle Dingle has had a really difficult year, thanks to Tom King’s abuse. However, a wind of change is blowing through Dales for her. Those who tuned into the recent episodes of the ITV sudser, saw Tom finally being brought to justice. It was so satisfying to watch Belle bravely take a stand for herself and testify against the monster.
And just like that, Tom’s wicked reign of terror came to an end in Belle’s life. However, this is not the only upside in her life. The latest Emmerdale spoilers tease that our beloved character is up for a huge surprise on Christmas Day. And it all begins with a conversation she has with Vinny Dingle. In the upcoming episodes, the duo discuss all that Belle has endured at Tom’s hands.
Their conversation goes back to the time when her beloved dog Piper died. But as Belle reflects on the events that transpired during the time, a shocking possibility dawns upon her. She tells Vinny that Tom’s manipulations know no bounds. Belle recalls how she never really saw Piper’s body and just took Tom’s word for it. She suddenly becomes consumed by a nagging feeling that Tom could have lied to her about Piper, and her furbaby could still be alive and out there somewhere.
Belle then urges Vinny to help her dig up Piper’s grave to confirm if the dog ever died or not. Initially, Vinny is reluctant. He voices his concerns over the condition of the carcass that they may find inside the casket. But Belle stands her ground. Vinny gives in, and the duo digs up Piper’s grave together. Much to their shock, when they open the casket, they find a brick inside.
Later, Vinny and Gabby manage to track down Piper’s new family and bring the pup back. On Christmas Day, Belle goes to pay her respects at her father’s grave, and that’s when she receives a Christmas miracle! When Belle looks up from Zak’s grave, she sees Piper running towards her. This reunion is going to mark the beginning of Belle’s journey toward healing. And it is going to be an incredible one!
