Adele Silva came to the village in 1993 as Kelly Windsor. She was the half-sibling of Donna Windsor, who passed away in 2014. The character has had an interesting romantic relationship in the soap. She was involved with Ray Glover and her teacher, Tom Bainbridge. However, after she finds out that Tom wasn’t faithful, Kelly had many one-night stands with Biff Fowler and Chris Tate.
Later, she found out that she was pregnant and told Chris about it. However, she had a heated argument with Kim Tate and fell down the stairs, which led to a miscarriage. Then her marriage to Roy wasn’t successful, so she had a relationship with Jimmy King. They got engaged, but their love plot was short-lived. Kelly Windsor left the village when Jimmy found out about her secret abortion.

Then in 2011, she returned to the Dales with her son, Elliot. The soap fans learned that he was Jimmy’s son. He lived with Jimmy in 2012 but later returned to his mother. However, in 2016, Kelly sent him back to the village. He has been living there.
