Joe’s Plan Unfolds While Pete Gets Attacked!
Joe, who is suffering from a chronic kidney disease, plans to take Caleb’s kidney without consent. He and Dr. Crowley decided to move forward with the plan putting it into action in the episode aired on March 25. In the episode, Dawn planned to spend a night with Joe, but he abruptly canceled their plans, telling her to break-up.
Meanwhile, Ross was keeping an eye on Joe after Kim gave him the freedom to do so. In the Woolpack, Joe thanked Manpreet for her help, promising her that her secret help would never be disclosed. Later, Ross informed Kim that Joe had a conversation with Manpreet, but Kim wasn’t too concerned as Ross didn’t have solid proof.
During their secret meeting with Dr. Crowley in the car to discuss their next move, Ross interrupted them by knocking on the door. Though Joe managed to escape Ross’s doubts tactfully, the Cobbles doctor told him they would have to reschedule in case Ross continued to chase them.
Joe informed Charity that he had seen Joe talking to someone on the roadside parking area and suspected that something fishy was going on. The story took another turn when Ross received a phone call informing him that someone has attacked his brother, Pete. He informed Charity that he had to leave immediately.
Dawn Warns Joe And Ned Reveals Joe’s Next Move – Did He Attack Pete?
Later, Dawn confessed to Kim about Joe’s actions. Kim advised her to focus on their marriage. In between their conversation Joe arrived and Dawn left. Kim told him that Dawn knows that he had been playing with her, so he should leave the couple alone. Towards the end of the episode, Joe informed Crowley about Ross’s departure.
But it was too late as Crowley had already demanded for extra £50,000 amid Ross’s rising doubts. Joe agreed to pay the money on the condition that their plan would get executed without any further delays.
Ned Porteous who plays Joe spoke about his character, saying that Joe needs a kidney urgently. He said that no one really knows what Joe has done to Pete, as no one has seen Pete for a long time.
