Amanda And Jaye Join Emmerdale!
Amanda Ryan, who appeared as Mel Sinclair in Casualty, is set to play the role of police detective in the upcoming Nate Robinson murder mystery. Her arrival will shake things up in the village.
Besides that, she has also appeared in EastEnders, Coronation Street and Doctors. Apart from Amanda Ryan, the ITV soap has also brought in the well-known actor Jaye Griffiths. She was also seen in many soaps, including Casualty, The Bill, Silent Witness and Doctors.
Jaye will play the character of an antagonist in the soap. She will trouble the farmer, Moira Dingle, who has already been going through an emotional turmoil after the slurry leak, which led to contaminating the village’s water supply.
Meanwhile, soap fans know John Sugden was responsible for the slurry leak as he wanted to frame Mackenzie Boyd to get revenge on him. Moreover, Lewis Barton’s arrival in the village has troubled her more as her past started haunting her.
Celia Will Trouble Moira Dingle!
Jaye Griffiths, who will play Celia in the soap, enquires if she can rent two of her fields, but Moira turns her down. As Moira already knows about Celia’s behaviour, Moira doesn’t want to deal with her despite her financial struggles. Meanwhile, Celia’s guard dogs brutally attack Paddy, and he is hospitalised. The soap’s producer, Laura Shaw, shared her excitement to have Jaye Griffiths on the set. As she recently took over the nearby farm, not much is known about her past. The producer added that the villagers will soon start to see the true personality of Celia. Meanwhile, Jaye also expressed her gratitude for the role.
She said the character is unique, and she was excited to be a part of the gripping plot.
