Christmas is almost upon us! Emmerdale Spoilers confirm that a bag full of shockers is about to leap at us as the festive season rolls out. In the recently aired episodes, we saw villain Jade kidnapping April Windsor to blackmail Ross. While he managed to save the teenager, the traumatic event ended up bringing her face-to-face with a dark truth. April found out how her mother had actually died, and it crushed her.
Now, as Christmas approaches, things will worsen for April and her family as she tries to come to terms with the new reality. “She’s 15 years old, so there’s always going to be friction with her parents”. Moreover, she’s recently found out the truth about how her mother really died, took her own life, and “it’s crushed her,” actor Mark Charnock told Metro in a recent chat.
It in understandable that she feels betrayed that Marlon didn’t tell her the truth. But he hadn’t told her because he wanted to protect her. Moreover, he didn’t know how to tell her the truth. “How do you tell someone that at that age? I think he was probably waiting until she was older,” Mark reasoned. Unfortunately, it seems that none of his explanations will hit home with April.
Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that in the lead-up to Christmas, Marlon is set to face some huge issues with April. He stumbles upon some texts on April’s phone and realizes that she has been trying to buy cannabis. When he confronts her a huge row erupts between the father and daughter. April fumes out of the house after that. Later, Marlon corners Ross and warns her to stay away from April as all the drama has occurred because of him.
In the following episode, April tries to open to Ross. However, he cruelly shuts her down, heeding Marlon’s threat. As soon as April realizes that Ross is alienating her due to Marlon’s threat she gets even more livid. April steals a bottle of wine from the Woolpack. On Christmas Eve, Marlon is horrified when drunk April makes a show of herself and spills wine over Donna’s memory card.
On Christmas Day, Marlon realises that April is missing from her room, and all her stuff is gone. Also, because he had taken away her phone, it dawned upon him that he wouldn’t be able to contact her. What will happen next? Where could she have gone?
