April Reveals Big Secret
Marlon began New Year’s Day on good terms with Rhona and confided in her about his guilt over the trail of incidents since April’s disappearance. The couple has been through a lot lately, especially after April’s trauma and emotional struggles kicked in. Now, it seems like things will get better between the couple. However, their happiness is short-lived when a family acquaintance arrives with information regarding the case.
The news was that April had probably been using a private social media profile. She didn’t just stop at activity but also uploaded videos from that profile, where she talked about her discontent with her family. When Marlon saw the video, he got emotional as he saw his drunken daughter talk to the camera. Soon, he left the room furious. Later, we see him speaking privately to the officer who told him that April had shared a video suspecting his affair with Laurel.
Though he quickly denied the allegation, his expressions tell otherwise. He even requested the officer not to tell Rhona anything about it for now.
