April’s Experiences Make Her Feel Isolated!
April ran away from her home over Christmas and started living on the streets. By February, her family had found her and brought her back. The soap even showed a flashback of her tough phase on the streets.
April, when pregnant, formed a friendship with Dylan. But things got more messed up – when her friend Becca was stabbed, and Dylan was arrested for drug dealing. Left with no money, she started stealing to survive. In one of the most heart-wrenching moments, she lost her baby in a public toilet. Though she cried for help, no one came. After returning home, she has been battling emotionally. She struggles to open up to her family. Moreover, being back at school makes April feel overwhelmed.
In the upcoming episodes, April attends a small party for teenagers at Mulberry Cottage. After reaching there she soon realises how her experiences set her apart from her friends. She feels trapped in her thoughts, pushing her further into isolation. Things soon take a turn when both her parents- Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk are left wondering – How will they handle April and help her move forward in life?
