Cain Dingle arrived this week in the village after a wild goose chase. He couldn’t find John and has been acting weird since he came back. Cain has been feeling guilty for not finding out the murderer who killed his son, Nare Robinson. He drank all day and even snapped at many villagers. He remained unbothered and didn’t answer questions about John to Moira.
Meanwhile, in Thursday’s episode, there were signs of change in Cain’s behaviour. Liam was responsible for getting Cain back on track with love. Liam urged him to stop drinking and pushing people away. Moira also helped him to change his behaviour. In the upcoming episodes, Cain is ready to help Liam as he is focusing on a prostate cancer awareness campaign. The soap fans know that Liam got the prostate tests done, so now he wants others to be careful.
Cain Is On A Mission Amid The Health Plot!
Liam is regretful as he didn’t get the check-up done when the symptoms first appeared. However, the local doctor learned that he is unlikely to have cancer. Meanwhile, during the campaign, he is happy to see so many men waiting for the prostate exam. He realises that Cain encouraged people to be a part of the campaign.
Elsewhere, Jonny McPherson, who plays the character of Liam in the soap, made an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine. He opened up about raising awareness through the soap. He said that his generation and the generation above are very poor at getting things sorted out. Though as a doctor, he gives advice to go for a check-up in case of the slightest doubt, he tried to ignore his symptoms.
