Liam Is Ashamed!
In Tuesday’s episode, Liam Cavanagh found himself trapped in an embarrassing situation. Claudette Andreson found him urinating at the allotment. He was ashamed. However, later he asked Claudette to the Woolpack backroom. Liam told her that he has been struggling with urinary incontinence. When Claudette learned about it, she was concerned that the doctor might be having a problem.
Though the doctor ignored his symptoms, Claudette told him to schedule an appointment for a check-up. David James, who is a Director of Patient Projects and Influencing, spoke on behalf of Prostate Cancer Research. He said that when there are changes in the way you pee, it is a warning sign that something might be wrong with prostate health.
Elsewhere, the local doctor knew that he should get the tests done. Furthermore, if he had experienced any changes in urination, including blood in urine, erectile dysfunction, or lower back pain, he should get a prostate cancer test.
Chas Is Concerned!
However, prostate cancer has no symptoms in the early stages. Furthermore, there are no National screening programmes in the U.K. Thus, many men are diagnosed at the last stage, which is difficult to treat. He added that they want a national screening programme which would lead to early detection of cancer.
Meanwhile, in the upcoming soap’s episodes, Claudette tells Liam to postpone his plans and attend the appointment. However, Liam tells her to cancel it instead. Meanwhile, Manpreet also catches him urinating in his own sink. Finally, Liam faces reality and tells Chas Dingle about it. She is concerned that he might have prostate cancer.
