She revealed to her stepdaughter that she had found someone and is ready to move on in her life. Kim Tate added that she had gone with her new love interest on many coffee dates. She first met him at the races.
Though she said that it wasn’t serious, Dawn believed that she wanted to explore the relationship. The step-daughter even thought the relationship to be weird as it was Kim’s first relationship after the death of her husband, Will Taylor. But Kim told Dawn that her new love interest won’t replace Will.

Furthermore, when they visited Will’s grave, Kim told Dawn that her partner’s name was Eddie. Thus, Dawn blessed her as she thought that Will would want to see Kim happy.
