Emmerdale spoilers tease that we will see a major New Year showdown between Kim and one of her newly made-enemies. It’s none other than Dawn Fletcher who will take revenge on Kim for the death of her father, Will Taylor. In the latest episodes, we saw Will Taylor come down with a major chest pain on the floor. However, this resulted from Joe’s unexpected return, when he came in to expose Will and break off his relationship with Kim.
Joe’s Comeback Proved Fatal
In a surprising turn of events, Joe Tate returned to the Dales at Kim and Will’s vow-renewing ceremony and tried to take Will down in front of Kim. Joe straightaway lied to Kim’s face about how he and Peter were just trying to test Will and wanted to save her from humiliation. He even tried to win over Kim emotionally, saying nothing mattered to him more than family. Even though Kim was shocked, she wanted to talk to her husband alone.
When Kim asked Will, he tried to make her understand his intentions but failed to convey them. Soon after, we saw Will falling down to the floor, holding his chest, but Kim remained unbothered. Later, we saw her calling 999 and giving him CPR, but it was too late. By the time they came, Will had already passed.
Dawn’s Major Revenge
In the upcoming episodes, we see Dawn Fletcher becoming suspicious about her father’s sudden death. Though the death report showed natural causes as the reason, she will be furious to know from the coroner how Kim watched Will die slowly. Leading to this, when Dawn starts to look through her father’s belongings, she finds a USB stick with a video that says Kim is responsible for his death. It seems like Will knew this might happen to him someday – maybe he knew Kim too well!
Dawn will now be seen in full-on revenge mode, but her husband Billy asks her to put it on the back burner and focus on the funeral instead. But she is not the one to give up so easily. When she sees her step-mum in a mourning outfit at the church – she instantly accuses her of the murder. That’s not all – she also puts up the video in front of all the villagers, but Kim will soon try to defend herself. In that heated moment, Dawn ends up pushing Kim into Will’s coffin.
Later, at the cemetery, when Will’s casket is lowered, Kim becomes emotional – she sees a blue light from afar. It will turn out that Dawn has called the police and is now trying to take Kim down legally. Will Kim be finally arrested?
