The latest Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed a grisly end for Anthony Fox’s end that might leave the whole village in shock. In Monday’s flash-forward scene, we got to see a sneak peek of the suspicious death. Though multiple names have come up in the list of suspects—but an actor has dropped major hints on who that is. Read on to find out what that’s all about.
Anthony Finally Meets His End
In the Monday episode’s opening scene, we got to see Anthony’s dead body. He was lying down on the floor with drops of blood scattered around along with a tooth stained in blood. While we presume the blood is Anthony’s, whose tooth is it? Since stepping foot in the village, Anthony has lured many with his charming behaviour—however, his predatory actions are finally surfacing. So, the list of suspects is definitely long!
Anthony has been after Ruby since the first day and has tried every way to torment her. However, just a couple of weeks ago, we came to know how he sexually abused his own daughter, Ruby, when she was just 16 years old. That’s not all—but recently also got to know that Anthony is the biological father of Ruby’s daughter, Steph. Though the DNA test results, hidden from Steph, created a rift between Caleb and Ruby—it didn’t last long.
Emmerdale Spoilers: Who Pulled The Trigger?
Caleb initially misunderstood Ruby thinking she probably cheated on him with someone else. As a result, he kicked her out of the Mill Cottage, and Ruby had to seek shelter in the village’s B&B, where Anthony showed up later and comes to know the truth about Steph. But thanks to Chas Dingle—who came in and revealed the truth to Caleb who realised his mistake and apologised to Ruby.
You would think that he would change after getting to know about Steph, right? Unfortunately, he didn’t. Now, his latest targets are Arthur (Laurel’s son) and Angelica (Nicola’s daughter). Though he has crept in masked as a tutor—Chas finally reveals to Nicola what he is for real. When Nicola confronts her, Anthony tries to get back at her, but thankfully, Laurel arrives, thumps on his head with a candlestick stand, and makes him unconscious.
Did Caleb Kill Anthony?
It doesn’t kill him—and later, Aaron witnesses a heated conversation between him and Ruby which probably brings back his memories of assault from his own father as an 8-year-old. But there’s Caleb joining the primary list of suspects for us too—because we see him receiving a gun delivery. Though he promises Ruby that he will always support her, he is probably now taking things into his own hands.
When asked Will Ash, aka Caleb, about whether he killed Anthony or not—he didn’t completely deny it. The actor said, “I don’t think he is capable initially, but when he’s confronted with Anthony’s indifference to what he’s done, it sends Caleb into a tailspin and a rage.” It could be that Caleb just took his revenge—well, we will just have to wait for the upcoming Emmerdale spoilers to reveal.
