Previous Emmerdale spoilers have already confirmed a series of exits from the village—but now, two exit storylines have been confirmed. Soon, we will see two major characters stepping out of the Dales, and both of them have completed shooting their last episodes. So, who are the two characters stepping out? Read on to find out.
Who Are The Two Characters?
One of the two characters lined up for a clear exit is Paula Lane, who plays Ella Forster. We have already seen in the previous episodes how Wendy threw Ella under the bus and gave away all of her secrets to the reporter.
The reporter who did the story on April’s disappearance blackmailed Wendy for some news again after she got the dirt on Rhona. To save herself, she gave away all of Ella’s secrets, including how she murdered her childhood friend as an 11-year-old.
When the news came out, Ella was shocked and hurt. She clearly understood that someone in the village had betrayed her. The news almost framed her as responsible for April’s disappearance just because she had a traumatic history. Though hurt, Ella is determined to figure out the culprit and make them feel sorry for their actions.
Rumours suggest that after the embarrassment, Ella will probably move out of the village and settle elsewhere. She tried her best to leave her past behind and start afresh—but maybe she is not destined for stability.
Talking about the next exit, it seems to be Wendy Posner. Before Ella exits, she will talk to the reporter and ensure she gets to the end of things.
