Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that a major row erupted between Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker in the December 3, 2024, episode. The argument reached a point where she even began considering leaving the village. It all began when Eric refused to seek any help for his situation. Eric, who was previously diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, insisted that he could take care of his scam situation.
Considering his health and situation, Brenda chose to remain calm while dealing with him and went outside. She admitted that despite his condition, she should have been furious but chose to leave the room calmly instead. Upon some more reflection, Brenda Walker decides that she needs to get Eric some help. Despite his refusal. Thus, she went back to Eric’s and told him that he has informed the police.
Unfortunately, she also informed Eric that the authorities could not help him. The police told her that they couldn’t do anything since Eric invested in his own free will and knew the risks. Later, she confided in Dr. Liam Cavanagh that she didn’t know if she had the energy to bounce back from the financial ruin. Following that, Eric tried to appease her by reminding her that even though the situation is bad, they still have a roof on their head.
Brenda lashed back, saying that the deed for the house had Eric’s name on it. “Whatever I had, whatever I worked all my life for, is gone,” she heartbreakingly added. Brenda went on to clarify that the only reason she is still staying under the same roof as Eric is that she is “penniless.” Eric once again tries to mend fences with her by offering to sell the shop to help get her money back.
But Brenda had something else on her mind. Emmerdale spoilers reveal that she confronted Eric about the real reason behind his decision to propose marriage. She wanted to know if he did so because of his medication. Caught off-guard, Eric admitted that he had never envisioned himself getting married again. However, he asserted that he meant everything he said to her when he proposed marriage.
” I don’t know what I would do if you left me,” Eric told Brenda earnestly. Brenda pulled Eric in for a warm hug. However, there was a look of doom on her face.
