Eric Pollard was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a year and a half ago. He has been finding it difficult to manage his symptoms. While working at David’s shop, Tracy observes his worsening condition and offers to help him. However, Eric Pollard gets offended and refuses Tracy’s help. He says he will manage everything on his own. However, soon he has a brutal fall, and there is no one to help him.
Eric Pollard is becoming more stubborn with his age, and his urge to get no help from anyone is making him fall into trouble. After his fall, he is rushed to the hospital and his injured arm is strapped up in a sling. However, Eric Pollard can’t remember anything. So, Kerry and Jacob get concerned, as earlier also he had confusion due to his disease, but he had never had such a drastic memory loss.
Eric Pollard Falls Again – Will He Accept Help?
Due to his age, he has to get support from his friends, but due to his stubborn behaviour, he won’t let anyone help him. Due to his memory loss, Jacob and Kerry insist that he get some help at home. However, Pollard feels insulted and turns down their suggestion. Soon, Kerry observes that Eric Pollard couldn’t even do the daily tasks on his own.
As Kerry considers Pollard as his family, she decides to help him. She hires a home help company to support him. Since Brenda left for the cruise trip, Eric Pollard has been suffering silently. But Kerry won’t let that happen anymore. Later, when Pollard falls again, he finally accepts that he needs help. He is ready to get help at Wishing Well Barn.
