Liam Cavanagh appeared in the village in 2014, and since then, he has been a part of various gripping storylines. His daughter, Lewis, was brutally killed by the serial killer, Meena Julta, in 2021. Last year, Liam was involved in a relationship with the child killer, Ella Forester. However, the relationship didn’t work out. After that, he had an affair with his fiancée, Chas Dingle.
Besides that, Liam Cavanagh was a part of the dramatic plot involving the tragic limo crash. It led to the death of three people, including Leyla Harding, Suzy Merton and Amy Barton. John Sugden was responsible for the limo crash as he spiked Noah Dingle. Elsewhere, in the recent episodes, Lewis Barton arrived in the village.
He first appeared as Ross Barton’s half-brother. When Moira received a letter which was addressed to the family of Emma Barton, she hesitated to disclose it to Ross. But finally revealed it to Ross.

As Emma was a nurse, soap enthusiasts have shared their theories that she might have met him at the hospital. A fan asked on the Facebook page who Lewis’s father is.
So, a fan replied that Liam is his father. Emma was a nurse, so they might have known each other through work. They might have had a one-night stand. The third one chimed that it would be a good plot if Liam turns out to be the father.
