Jacob Is Shattered!
Jacob started his job at Hotten General as a dream, but it has become hell for him. This is due to his boss, Dr Todd, who has been dragging the trainee doctor into a workplace bullying storyline. Meanwhile, earlier, Jacob met Bear, who came to A&E to deal with his drug addiction. But he ended up attacking Jacob. Dr Todd didn’t comfort the poor Jacob but berated him for not following the protocols.
Furthermore, the boss also assigned him huge research papers with an impossible deadline. Though he managed to hand them on time, Dr Todd wasn’t satisfied. She also sabotaged his performance and wanted him to get fired.
Elsewhere, earlier this week, when Kim Tate collapsed, Jacob misdiagnosed her with mushroom poisoning. Todd sent Jacob out of the room. Then he told Joe and Dawn to make a complaint about him. Furthermore, she told Jacob that Kim could sue if they don’t apologise. However, when he told her that she agreed with mushroom poisoning, she accused him of lying. Meanwhile, when Jacob recently saw Todd shouting at a patient, he accused her of misbehaving. But Todd told him that the patient was his father.

Meanwhile, the soap fans learned that Todd has a wife and his father was a neurosurgeon who is suffering from the last stage of dementia. Jacob also shared about Eric’s Parkinson’s. Then Todd offered Jacob a chance to attend a prestigious neurologic clinic in Leeds. However, the bullying is not over.
In the upcoming episodes, Kerry Wyatt decides to teach Todd a lesson. But panic starts in the hospital as Todd’s father has a cardiac arrest. As no one is around, Jacob gives him CPR despite being marked as Do Not Resuscitate. Todd is furious. But when he snaps at her, Jacob is embarrassed. Todd orders him to go home. He is tearful and leaves the place.
But Kerry sees him and begins to suspect that something is wrong. She overhears Todd and Jacob in the hospital. Kerry confronts Todd. Thus, she has met her match. However, Todd points out Joe’s mistakes. Kerry thinks that she has worsened the situation. Thus, the soap watchers wonder – What will happen next?
