His conversation with Dr. Crowley recently confirmed that he is suffering from a serious – chronic kidney disease. But that’s not all – Joe has been targeting many people, creating more drama in the village.
One of Joe’s main targets was his brother – Noah. When Joe needed a kidney transplant he took Noah to the hospital, hoping that he would be a suitable match. However, his plan failed when the test results didn’t match his expectations, urging him to search for another target. His plan to include Manpreet Sharma in his plan failed, shifting Crowley and Joe’s focus to Caleb. The plan went ahead when in Thursday’s episode, a woman cautiously handed them Caleb’s blood sample.
However, their scheme faced another hurdle. When they discovered that Ross had been appointed as the new head of security, they knew that Ross could be a possible threat to their cunning plan. Then, Joe met with Crowley to discuss their next move regarding Caleb.

Meanwhile, Joe and Caleb’s rivalry continued. Amid this increasing tension, Joe continued to pursue a secret affair with Dawn. However, Dawn remained fearful that their secret relationship might be exposed. Besides this, Caleb found himself extremely anxious as Jai’s suspicion about Anthony’s mystery had started to increase.
Crowley and Joe met to finalise their plan. The Cobbles doctor informed Joe that the transplant procedure would take place in two days and insisted that Caleb be brought in an unconscious state. He also insists Joe leaving the village after surgery but Joe remains adamant that nothing would stand in his way.
