ITV has recently confirmed that the special instalment will feature the full cast of 41 characters. A wicked character who has fled from Emmerdale will also be a part of the crossover. The episode will air on January 5, when the soaps will merge for the first time. Though the exact details of the upcoming crossover are being kept secret, ITV released two trailers.
The soap fans learned that there will be a multi-vehicle pile-up. The catastrophic crash will surprise soap fans. Furthermore, the soap followers also learned that Aaron’s husband, John Sugden, will come back in the upcoming crossover. Earlier, the viewers saw him in September when he fled with the help of Caleb Miligan.

Furthermore, Kit, Lisa, Ronnie, Sarah Platt, Steve, Summer, Theo, Tim, Todd and Tracy Barlow from Weatherfield will make an appearance. Meanwhile, from Emmerdale, Aaron, Cain, Charity, Chas, Eric, Jacob, Jai, Joe, Liam, Mack, Moira, Rat, Robert, Sarah Sugden and Victoria will be a part of the upcoming crossover.
Elsewhere, the synopsis for the crossover mentioned that Corriedale is just the beginning of the drama after the terrifying crash. It will lead to fear, death, destruction, secrets and lies.
