John Is Back!
The Christmas episode teased what’s ahead. John Sugden’s return surprised the fans. They expected trouble for Kev, who returned to the village to seek revenge after Robert chose Aaron over him. However, the real danger is John. Meanwhile, Aaron and Victoria feared that Robert was in danger when he went missing on Christmas Day. Meanwhile, Kev was also on the run.

However, the soap fans saw someone unconscious and tied up in an abandoned house. It seemed that Robert was in a dangerous position, but he was at the Woolpack. He was out for an errand. Then the soap viewers learned that Kev was in trouble. John had held him captive as a part of a bigger scheme against Robert and Aaron. John sneaked into the Woolpack and delivered a monologue to Aaron. He made it clear that no one cares as much as he cares for him. Next year they will be together.
John’s Comeback Heats Corriedale!
Elsewhere, Corriedale will air on January 5, 2026. ITV bosses announced that 41 characters will be a part of it. The writers have connected John’s story with Corriedale. The fans saw him in the Wanted poster on Corrie. Meanwhile, Oliver Farnworth, who plays John, said that love and jealousy brought him back. He will be more unhinged than ever. Furthermore, he has discovered Charity’s secret and posted a letter to Mack.

Meanwhile, other teasers include Chas Dingle revealing that her partner, Liam, had booked them in a murder mystery event at a hotel in Weatherfield. Lucy Pargeter said that she will be in a fancy dress during the three scenes. She opened up about the plot. The actor said that she will be in a beautiful Holland Cooper Suit and would be on her way back to the village in one of the Weatherfield cabs. There will be chaos and danger. Meanwhile, the soap fans also know that there will be a multi-vehicle pile-up.
Elsewhere in the Christmas episodes, the soap fans were happy to see Lydia and Kim rekindling their friendship. However, they were shocked to learn of April’s decision to move away with the drug dealers. The soap also mentioned Amy, Ethan and other members by throwing some flashbacks.
