John Sudgen, a medic, arrived in Emmerdale last year. When he met his half-sister, Victoria, he formed a strong bond with Aaron Dingle. Even though Aaron and John are engaged, Aaron has no idea of John’s dark side. A series of flashbacks will unfold more information about John.
The producer of the soap, Laura Shaw also hinted that ever since John has been hiding major secrets from his family and friends, since he arrived last summer. She added that once the truth is exposed, soap fans will know about John’s hidden motives and the mystery around him.
Soap fans are already aware that he has been harbouring many secrets. The first hint came when John was seen holding onto dog tags with the name Aidan Moore. He later explained to Aaron that he and Aiden were in the army together. However, unfortunately John couldn’t save Aidan’s life.
