The soap fans know that Arthur Thomas learned the truth about Ray. He was angry and confronted him. Later, he stole Ray’s bag full of cash and drugs. However, he later learned from April Windsor that the drug dealer had extorted money from her parents, Marlon Dingle and Rhona.
He hid the truth from his mother, Laurel Thomas. Earlier, Laurel found out that Arthur had Ray’s belongings. She told him to get rid of it. But he didn’t do that. However, in the upcoming episode, the truth is out.
In the next week’s instalments, Laurel learns about Arthur’s secret. She realises that she has got her hands on blood money. She knows that the cash is a result of human trafficking and exploitation. She can’t look at the money.

They argue, and Arthur tells Laurel that he will tell everyone that she hit him. She breaks down, so Arthur apologises. But he begs her to let him travel. However, Laurel has some other plans. She wants to give it to Rhona and Marlon.
