Michael Breaks Silence On Ross Barton!
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Bradley Riches would arrive in the Dales and play the character, Lewis Barton. Lewis will gather the courage to meet his brother, Ross, to discover more about his family. Michael Parr, who plays Ross Barton, has shared his views on the upcoming episodes.
He said that Ross Barton would deal with the situation in his own way, and his reaction wouldn’t be great. The actor explained that the situation would be overwhelming for Ross as it would bring a lot of bad memories. He added that his brother, who was thought to be ideal, was barmy.
Michael said that there are a lot of secrets, and Ross doesn’t know what to disclose, so he becomes emotionally guarded, reacting in a grumpy way. He also reflected that Ross doesn’t let people in easily, as he has suffered many losses over the years. However, he shared that Lewis is charismatic, so that would help them bond easily.
Michael Praises Bradley Riches!
The Emmerdale actor said that there are many similarities between Lewis and Finn. Ross is defensive as he doesn’t want to lose the person after an emotional attachment to them.
He hinted that it would be hard for Ross to say no to Lewis, as he is very pure, reminding him of Finn. He added that Ross would feel nice to have somebody on his side, as he lost the people whom he got close to. Ross has lost two girlfriends, four family members and had to face a web of unfortunate situations.
Besides the storyline, Michael also appreciated the new arrival, Bradley Riches. He shared that Bradley is refreshing and reminds him of Verity as they share a good bond.
