Emmerdale actor, Mike Parr, who plays Ross Barton in the soap, reflected on his bond with the new arrival, Bradley Riches, as Lewis in the soap. He appreciated his co-star and said he was praising him not because he was present there, but because he is so refreshing for Mike.
He added that Bradley reminds him of working with Verity, as they also formed a good bond. Mike said he has been great for cast morale and attracted a new generation of viewers to the show. He added that it is hard for Ross to pair up with anyone. This is because he has lost everyone he loved.

He added that Ross had a similar situation with Finn, where they grew some weed on the side. He teased that Ross wants to live a gangster life.
