The latest Emmerdale spoilers have already confirmed Anthony’s end at the hands of Aaron in Caleb’s depot. But it seems like bad things are waiting for Aaron as he teams up with his partner to cover up the murder. But will he be able to do that successfully? We have some theories.
Aaron At Risk?
We already know about the recent relationship between Aaron Dingle and John Sudgen. After a lot of ups and downs, the duo has finally come together—but we hardly know much about John.
Since he stepped in the village last August, we only know about his mysterious army background and his calm and composed nature even in tense situations. Now that Aaron has included him to help cover up the whole murder act, it has sparked a lot of speculation among the fans.
Last week, Aaron and John discovered that Anthony Fox had died at Caleb’s depot. The villain’s death came after Aaron brutally beat him up once he came to know about Anthony’s real character as a child abuser.
Aaron, who already has a history of sexual abuse from his father— couldn’t ignore Ruby and Anthony’s conversation and took his revenge. But instead of letting Aaron face the consequences alone, John chimed in and took charge of the whole cover-up.
Fan Theories Spark Speculations
However, Monday’s episode has brought in a lot of fan theories. Once the fan sees John’s calculative actions, like moving Anthony’s car and manipulating Ruby with a false gas leak, he claims he looks like a man who is way too comfortable with crimes and deception. While it’s natural for anyone to feel nervous and freak out—John didn’t. Viewers even took to social media to express their concerns.
One said, “I always thought the “John is a serial killer” rumours were absolutely ridiculous, but being in the army does not usually mean that you would be so calm about clearing up the murder of an old man and then just dumping their body. He was so fine with it to the point that I actually believe he may have killed Nate and maybe Aidan Moore”. Another soon chimed in to agree, “He’s definitely done this before; I suspect he will get madder and worse.”
Despite Aaron and John’s best efforts, the obstacles keep on growing. Besides, the Monday episode revealed that Steph Milligan isn’t quite convinced by their story. While Ruby and Caleb believed it to be true that Anthony had quietly left the village, Steph remains curious. Steph left a voicemail on Anthony’s phone expressing confusion and demanding some answers—she can’t connect the dots now. Will her persistence soon reveal their crime? Only the Emmerdale spoilers can reveal. Until next time, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more updates.
