Mack is trapped in an underground bunker. When he uses the syringe that John left him with, he starts to hallucinate his wife, Charity Dingle. As John gave him the syringe before driving off the cliff with Aaron, it seems that he hasn’t returned.
Elsewhere, Nicola is angry to see her sister Bernice, who heads to the B&B. She tells Bob how upset both Nicola and Gabby are with her. However, Gabby was on good terms with Bernice earlier, but she is also angry. Meanwhile, as Bob comforts her, they share a bottle of wine and recall their lost love.
Meanwhile, as Gabby and Vinny get ready for the wedding day, the groom starts feeling anxious due to Mike. Elsewhere, everyone admires Gabby’s dress as she enters, but is shocked to see Bernice. She hints at a secret that Gabby is keeping. Then Gabby tells Vinny that something is wrong, making him more anxious. Gabby tells Bernice that she didn’t cancel the wedding and asks Arthur to walk her down the aisle. However, the story takes a turn as Vinny disappears. April Is Angry!
Meanwhile, at the car park during the drug drop off, April meets a young lad. However, PC Swirling sees her and tells her that he would give her a lift home. Rhona is in a state of confusion when she sees him dropping her off, but April makes excuses. Elsewhere, Dylan is anxious when Ray tells him that he doubts whether April will be able to hide the truth. He shares this with April, and she gets angry.
