Sarah Sugden decided to not get involved in a relationship but made a decision. She decided to have a baby through IVF. Sarah disclosed this to Vanessa. She told her that she has been visiting IVF clinics to check her eligibility.
However, Sarah has health complications. In the upcoming episodes, Sarah feels anxious when she learns that her biopsy results are ready. She goes to the hospital, but when she checks the results, she is devastated.
The consultant informs her that she has cervical cancer. Though the doctor has caught it in its early stages, it is still horrifying news. Sarah is just nineteen and wants to have a baby. So, such an uncertain situation is difficult for her to process.
However, the medic tells her that it is still possible for her to fulfil her dream of having a child. Then Sarah leaves the consultant’s office and finds Jacob in the corridors.
