On the day of Sarah Sugden’s big cancer operation, Charity Dingle spoke to her. Sarah Sugden told her grandmother that she was thankful to her for her support. She had supported her more than her mother, Debbie Dingle, who went to Australia with her boyfriend. However, soon Sarah Sugden realised that Charity wasn’t happy with her decision to have a baby through IVF. Charity told her that even if her plan was wrong, she would support her.
Thus, Sarah was sad and fearful when she went for their operation. Meanwhile, Charity felt guilty for telling her the truth. She was concerned about the operation. But things got worse as the doctor informed Cain Dingle and Charity that Sarah Sugden’s operation had gone wrong. They had to do a hysterectomy on the twenty-year-old. Thus, her plan to be a mother through IVF was shattered.
