Todd came back on the show recently and has turned Jacob’s life upside down. He is trapped in a workplace bullying storyline and has been trying to balance his personal and professional life.
Jacob has been working in a mentorship programme under Todd. Her bullying has reduced Jacob’s confidence. She even took credit for his work and put him on bedpan duty.
Jacob has been anxious. Furthermore, she pushed him into more trouble when she told him that she thought Kim had been poisoned by mushrooms. He told this to Dingles. They started thinking about who the culprit was. However, the test results proved her wrong. But she laid the blame on the trainee doctor.
He called her out for it, but it aggravated the situation. However, Jacob later thought that things were sorted out when he opened up about her father’s dementia. Jacob also spoke about his grandfather, Eric’s Parkinson’s. But things took a tragic turn when Todd’s father’s health deteriorated.
Todd’s Move Sparks Dark Accusations!
As there was no one in the hospital, Jacob stepped in to help Todd’s father. He gave him CPR but didn’t realise that he had a Do Not Resuscitate order. Thus, Todd was furious and berated him again. However, they managed to sort it out.
In the upcoming episodes, Dr Todd reassures him that everything is fine. However, Jacob is unaware that she has been recording their conversation to use it later and accuse him of obsessive behaviour.
The trainee doctor is unaware that she wants to frame him as a stalker. He feels uncomfortable around her. He is not pleased when he learns that she is moving in with Vanessa. Jacob manages a swift snap with Rich to get away. However, he finds out that he has accidentally switched onto her shift the next day.
