Belle Dingle stunned everyone when she swung the axe and plunged it right into her abusive husband’s back, recall Emmerdale Spoilers. For a hot minute, Belle believed that she had killed Tom King, but that wasn’t the case. Like a wicked cat with nine lives, Tom survived the attack and was taken to the hospital by Dr. Liam Cavangh.
In the recent episodes, he called upon Belle to have a private meeting with him in his hospital room. Tom King offered her a deal that he wouldn’t tell the police that she attacked him if she promised not to tell the police about his abuse. Convinced that she would take the deal, Tom told the police that he was attacked by two robbers.
However, he was shocked when the police told him that Belle had already admitted to having attacked him in self-defense, reveal Emmerdale Spoilers. He then took a U-turn with his story and claimed that he was lying about the robbers to protect Belle, and in reality, she is the abusive partner. Tom claimed that all through their marriage she was the one abusing him.
The police rejected his claims in their entirety and quizzed him about the camera he had installed to spy on her. Tom King tried to convince the police that he only did it to ensure Belle’s safety. Unfortunately, none of his claims worked with the police and they arrested him on charges of domestic abuse.
