Finally, in the latest Emmerdale spoilers, we saw justice catching up to Tom King. He has got police charges but that seems to do nothing for him. Just when the King family thought they could breathe a sigh of relief – he found another manipulative target. Who can it be? Let’s find out.
Tom and His Twisted Games
As soon as the guilty plea went off the table, Tom King was already devising a plan to get out of the mess he had created. You are probably wondering who could be his next target- well, it’s none other than young Angelica.
He is planning to use Angelica King as his pawn to convince Jimmy. Now that she believes that evil is in her blood, she contacts Tom in prison. Tom, on the other hand, sees this as a fresh opportunity and instantly jumps at it.
Tom still thinks that these ways can still work for him, which have worked in the past. Now that he has to change the tactics, his goal doesn’t change – all he wants is Jimmy’s support.
Can Angel Convince Jimmy?
So far, Jimmy has refused to read the letter sent by Tom, but he happens to be a master manipulator. He convinces Angel to convince Jimmy to fight his corner and read the letter. Jimmy, however, realizes that Angelica has already fallen for Tom’s tricks again.
Ultimately, he couldn’t make Angel understand his point that it’s one of Tom’s tricks. That’s why Jimmy decides to meet Tom and stop this nonsense once and for all. Even though Tom tries to manipulate him emotionally, as he turns to blame Belle – Jimmy gets furious.
Jimmy’s Realization
After seeing Tom’s manipulative tricks, Jimmy finally sees his mistake and he can’t expect any kind of support from Jimmy. But Jimmy gives him one condition – to change his plea – to which Tom refuses to agree.
Ollie, acting on Tom’s behalf, assigns Angelica a task she can’t refuse. Believing she’s helping Tom, Angel uploads a video to rally support for his cause. She doesn’t realize the devastating impact of her actions.
The video spreads across social media, blindsiding Jimmy and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler). Angelica’s loyalty to Tom may ultimately unravel the case against him.
