Sarah Sugden went through a lot last year. Her Fanconi Anaemia made it impossible for her to carry a pregnancy even through IVF. Her cancer operation went wrong, so the doctors informed her that she couldn’t carry a child. She was losing hope, but soon tried for surrogacy. Sarah couldn’t find an appropriate surrogate. Then Charity came forward and decided to be her granddaughter’s surrogate.
When the nurse informed that Charity was pregnant, Sarah was hopeful and excited. But she is unaware of a major truth. Soon, the soap fans learned that Charity was anxious because she wasn’t carrying Sarah and Jacob’s baby. The grandmother fought with Mack and had a one-night stand with Ross. So Charity is carrying Ross’s baby.
Mack learned about the truth, but he is not aware that his wife is carrying Ross’s baby.
Elsewhere, the producer Laura Shaw said that the baby’s truth will be out soon. The baby is due inthe spring, so the birth might be the event when the truth is exposed.
Viewers Demand To Recast Debbie Dingle Amid The Baby Plot!
Meanwhile, the soap fans want the soap to recast Sarah’s mother, Debbie Dingle. A viewer wrote on Reddit that they find it odd that Debbie doesn’t feel the need to be with her daughter. The writers should recast her. Another fan agreed that the parent should be there during all of this. A soap follower also added that Debbie is worse than Charity.
The old fans might know that Charley Webb played the character of Debbie Dingle from 2002 to 2019. She returned for a brief stint in 2020. Then she left the village for Scotland. She shared the news with Sarah that she married her partner, Chris and moved to Australia.
