Beth Has Been Strained From Ruby’s Storyline
Ruby’s life has been anything but peaceful lately. Last year, we learned the shocking truth about her past: Ruby was abused by her father, Anthony (played by Nicholas Day). Flashbacks gave us a chilling glimpse into Ruby’s childhood, where Anthony physically abused her. Now, with Anthony comfortably making his way into the village, Ruby’s world has been turned upside down.
To make things even more messy, she can’t figure out Steph’s paternity. She even ordered a DNA test to settle the confusion, and all these back-to-back blows drained Beth, too. As a result, Beth took a well-deserved break to reunite with her real-life partner, Ian Kelsey, in China. Beth’s social media posts captured her joy and adventures, where she explored Xi’an and enjoyed some humorous moments. Ian also shared a sweet video of Beth surprising him on the street—we can’t love them more!
Now that Beth’s back on set, she’s wasted no time teasing fans about what’s to come. Beth uploaded a video of the sun setting over the snowy village landscape, writing: “Just not fun at all. #lovemyjob These people make me laugh until it hurts. (Until the script/director/FirstAD tells me it’s time to cry again).”
