Bradley Riches, who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, is set to be a member of Emmerdale. His role has been disclosed. He will play the character of Ross’s brother, Lewis Barton. The actor revealed the details about his role. Riches shared that Lewis is studying at Leeds University, and the character is related to Ross. He added that Lewis knows he has a brother. His storyline starts when he finally decides to meet him and gather more information about his family.
Riches also shared that he came to Leeds to play a different character named Dylan, who is April Windor’s friend. However, the schedule didn’t match, and the actor believed he had missed the opportunity. He added that it was meant for him, as the current character is better for him.

The Emmerdale actor also shared about his character on social media. He took to Instagram to reveal his role’s identity, where he posted a picture of himself along with Michael Parr, who plays Ross Barton in the soap. In the caption, he revealed that Ross was his brother, mentioning that good looks run in his family.
Riches’s role is also autistic, like him. He added that the soap writers were quite supportive and willing to use the right words to portray the storyline accurately. The actor said that in the autism community, they don’t say that they have autism. Though he doesn’t mind, people think that it’s a part of them if they are autistic.
Furthermore, his character’s plot won’t focus on him being autistic. He added that he just shared this with Ross, and after that, there is no mention of his autism.
