But they also learned that Kev is a wealthy man with a terminal illness. Robert is waiting for him to die so that he can inherit his cash.

However, the soap showed a twist when Liam Cavanagh discovered his illness. He found out that Robert’s husband was lying. He isn’t terminally ill, but he had to hide it from Robert because of patient confidentiality. Shortly after Kev and Robert renewed their vows, Robert ended things with his spouse. In the latest episode, Kammy hosted a housewarming party for Vinny and Lewis at the Dales.
At the party, Billy Fletcher took to the karaoke machine, but things changed when Kev entered. Robert and Aaron came and performed drunken karaoke. To win his husband, Kev started singing Daniel Bedingfield’s 2002 love song, If You’re Not The One. But Kev felt ashamed and left the place. Then Robert went to check on him and promised to take care of him till his death.
